Studio Policies
Attendance
- Students are asked to commit to weekly lessons for the entirety of the school year. Summer lessons are encouraged and operate on a much more flexible schedule, but are not required to return to the studio in the fall.
- To ensure your student gets the most out of their lessons, regular attendance is required and expected. Tuition is charged monthly regardless of attendance and families will not be reimbursed for missed lessons. However, things happen unexpectedly and there are certain circumstances that are unavoidable. In cases such as these, reimbursement or make up lessons will be offered at the teacher's discretion.
- Make up lessons will occur during designated weeks throughout the school year. These weeks are specifically reserved for when unavoidable conflicts or other emergencies arise.
Tuition and Payments
- Tuition is billed monthly and calculated based on the number of lessons per semester divided by the number of months per semester. For example, if there are 12 half hour lessons ($300) in one semester over the course of 4 months, the monthly rate is $75.
- Tuition is billed via email on the 1st of every month and due by the 7th.
- If an account is overdue for more than 60 days, lessons will be terminated.
- A monthly discount will be applied to families where more than one child is enrolled in lessons full time.
- Parents are responsible for purchasing materials. If the teacher purchases supplies for a student, the amount will be billed on the following invoice.
- Event/Recital fees will be applied to invoices during the month of the event.
